Tony Jones 

Tony Jones - CEO

Tony's career in tax commenced in 1972 when he joined the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as an assessor.  He has wide experience in tax gained through the ATO, chartered accountancy, industry, public practice, association management and marketing and publishing.  

 Steve Cane

Steve Cane - General Manager

Steve is a Chartered Accountant and also holds an LLB and Master of Taxation.  He was a Taxation Manager with Deloitte and Lecturer at RMIT University, where he taught financial accounting and taxation law.  He has over 20 years taxation experience. Steve is a talented researcher and tax writer and presents a range of seminars. 

 Andrew Gardiner

Andrew Gardiner - Senior Taxation Manager

Andrew has over 15 years of dedicated tax experience and this allows him to give an extremely practical insight into any tax issue.  He and the technical staff at the NTAA have literally devoted hundreds of hours to preparing the seminar notes and software so that they deal with individual and business tax issues.  Andrew is one of our premier presenters and his seminars are always widely acclaimed for their practicality and professional delivery. 

 James Deliyannis

James Deliyannis - Senior Taxation Manager

James is a CPA and holds a B. Bus (Accountancy) and a Graduate Diploma in Taxation.  James has over 20 years dedicated tax experience, and is a talented tax researcher and one of our premier tax writers.  James has also had several years experience presenting seminars on Tax Schools and FBT, and more recently, the Hot Spots  and Superannuation seminar series.    

Over the years, James has also represented the NTAA on a number of ATO national forums, including the FBT-Subcommittee forum, and has constantly liaised with the ATO to ensure that accountants are kept informed of the latest technical and administrative developments from the ATO.

 Nick Connell

Nick Connell - Taxation Manager

Nick has over 15 years of varied taxation experience which includes Chartered, Industry and ATO as well as post-graduate qualifications in tax. For those of you already familiar with Nick, you will be more than aware of his great passion and enthusiasm for taxation matters.  This, combined with his detailed technical knowledge, ensures his presentations are practical and informative.

 Riley Jones

Riley Jones - Legal Counsel

Riley Jones LLB(Hons), B.Com has worked in taxation and business law with solicitors Rigby Cooke and the NTAA over the past 10 years.  Riley is a talented researcher and tax writer and has presented a range of seminars on GST and other tax issues.  He is currently the host of the NTAA's monthly update "Tax on the Couch", the head writer for Voice and is writing and presents a number of well attended and excellent tax based seminars.
