Fellowship
As an NTAA member, you’re eligible to apply for Fellowship for an annual fee of $330 (incl. GST), in addition to your current NTAA membership.
By becoming a Fellow, you will receive a Practising Certificate, allowing you to operate as an "NTAA Public Accountant."
The Benefits you will receive:
- Stapled Fellowship: Eligible Fellows can apply for an NTAA Plus Ltd (our RTAA) Fellowship at no extra cost.
- Record-Keeping Assistance: Our member hub tracks your NTAA CPD hours, reducing your administrative workload.
- Professional Recognition: Fellows can use the title "NTAA Public Accountant" and the post-nominals NTAAF.
- Non-Intrusive: We respect your autonomy and won't interfere with how you manage your practice.
Things you can authorise:
NTAA Fellows can authorise a range of documents across legal and financial areas.
These include:
- Signing trading statements under the Victorian Estate Agents Act.
- Acting as referees for proof of identity under the Financial Transaction Reports Act.
- Signing Commonwealth Financial Accountability certificates for government grants.
- Authorising primary producers' concession certificates for motor vehicle registration in NSW.
- Witnessing statutory declarations.
- Completing Minimum Finanical Requirements Reports as a Qualified Accountant for the Queensland Building and Construction Commission.
the qualifications you need:
- Three years’ experience practising as a principal in public practice; or
- A combination or tertiary qualifications and relevant experience; or
- A current Practising Certificate from either CPA Australia, CAANZ or IPA.
